I know they will soon be in Cleveland Ohio but I can't seem to get through to the "Rock and Roll" Hall of Fame there which is where I understand they are appearing on January 20th. Dear Yinka Nice to hear from you! First of all, I was interested to read that you've been trying to set up a group in London. A capella is so big in the States but over here, most people don't even know what the term means! As I said previously I take part in an capella workshop which has created a little splinter group, so I am pretty involved with that now. If you're interested in coming to it any time, let me know! If you do move to DC, you'll probably have a much easier time... On another note, how did you become friends with Cedric Dent? I was fortunate to meet Claude, Alvin and Joey back in '91 after a concert in London and they were absolutely charming. I'm not familiar with the Magnets - let me know some more about them. They are amazing, and I think we all idolize them. I had the pleasure of meeting them last January in Cleveland. It was one of the highlights of my life! They are all REALLY nice guys. However, you must understand that they are extremely busy! You should determine 'Why' you want to send them your CD. Like any famous artists, they probably don't have time to sit down and listen to all of the CD's that they receive. If you have a friend that knows them, that friend is probably your best resource for getting in touch with them. If that won't work, I would try their record company, which I believe is based out of Nashville. I don't wish to rain on your parade, but you will have to be very creative in finding ways of getting them to hear your CD. Best of Luck! I have been trying to find out if any Pittsburgh PA trips are planned and in addition can't seem to find a site where I can find out about concerts which I could attend other than Pittsburgh. Their Cleveland concert was acceptable to me but the Hall of Fame people had a stupid answering service which did not help me one bit.
