In origine cantante di musica leggera, incide il suo primo disco nel 1985 ("Io e te"), l'anno successivo fonda il gruppo Legend, poi creatore di famosi jingle pubblicitari, nel 1991 realizza il suo primo album gospel, "Victory". Nel 1993 fonda l'Anno Domini Gospel Choir, composto attualmente da 15 giovani di Torino; la corale esegue un vasto repertorio che va dal gospel americano ai canti spirituals tradizionali, con occasionali divagazioni anche nel cantautorato italiano e nel gospel contemporaneo. "Bianchi e neri, noi abbiamo tutti lo stesso sangue: rosso"; questo potrebbe essere il messaggio dei Palata Singers, questi figliocci del "Golden Gate Quartet", questi fratelli di Manu Dibango. I 4 cantanti (Marcel Boungou, Bernard Makambila, Alphonse Nzindou, Gaspard Mifoundou) accompagnati da Denis Lapassion al pianoforte, sono in effetti la "mano tesa" fra Africa, America ed Europa. Il loro repertorio si ispira al Gospel, agli Spirituals, al Blues e ai canti africani. Tom will present a really original sound: a mix of acoustic music, pop-rock, R&B and soul. - - Free Voices. Choir consisting of about twenty young members of the local Evangelical Church, directed by Lidia Genta. The Free Voices' repertoire belongs to "Contemporary Christian Music" and moves from traditional Gospel to ballads with some hints of "Praise and Worship". - - Ginger Brew. Her warm voice has made her very popular in various national and international studios; since 1990 she has been working with singer-song writer Paolo Conte, with whom she recorded the CD "Parole d'amore scritte a macchina" and a tour. Addirittura si potrebbe pensare di realizzare un piccolo database diviso per provincie dove si dice in questa zona ci sono tot musicisti cantanti arrangiatori interessati alla musica gospel/contemporanea cristiana/corale ecc, che potrebbe stimolare la formazione di nuove formazioni (scusate la deformazione dell'italiano)... cosa ne pensate? la cosa puo' funzionare anche via mail, probabilmente, inviando una mail per fornire i dati secondo un formato prestabilito e richiedendo le info specificando la provincia. Mi impegno a riprendere la questione dopo Asti Gospel e qualche meritato giorno di vacanza; diciamo all'inizio del '98?
