They do publish a small journal to members, I have a copy of the intervie= w with Troy where he claimed to have been abducted by aliens and he claims = he never said it! Anyway, i won't be able to pick up Joanna's CD for a while, but I'm wondering if Joanna does any of the songs in the Irish language. While I'm on this topic, why doesn't Iona use more Irish in their music (like Clannad does)? Is it personal choice, fear that those of us who do not speak Irish will not relate, prodding by the recording label, or some other reason? I say Joanna because it is "Joanna" on the CD jacket. Also, on the back of the jacket, where Joanna dedicates the album to her father, her signature is "Joanna." I must say I like the CD very much. No, its not Iona, but I didn't expect it to be. It seems one of the main reasons that Joanna would do a solo album would be so she could do and try things that she couldn't otherwide do with Iona. Of course, there is an Iona sound to the songs :-) The first thing I noticed about Joanna when looking at her pictures in the CD is that she has some of the most beautifil blue eyes I have ever seen! She's a lovely lady. The second thing I noticed is that she's not wearing a wedding ring. You can clearly see her left hand in the photo on the back cover, and there's definitely no ring. I was under the impression she was married. Perhaps not, or not any more? Maybe she just chooses not to wear a ring for whatever reason. Not that it matters, she's a remarkable talent anyway.
