Really appreciate the effort to create a list server. I would second the idea of calling this list "IonaSphere", after all, if you plotted all the locations of Iona fans worldwide, you would have lots of little "points of Light" on a sphere! I came to love Iona's music because I am a dedicated Enya fan, and Iona was mentioned, if I remember correctly, on alt.music.enya. I went to my local Christian bookstore and found "Journey into the Morn"... and all I can say is it's a good thing that it is a CD - by now I would have worn out an LP record. I love "Inside my Heart"... it sounds like a joyful love song - a beautiful waltz with a powerful rock ending. Then after paying careful attention to the lyrics, one realizes that it is a song of praise. "make Your home inside my heart". This will be a lifetime favorite album for me. I just got "Heaven's Bright Sun", and want to express my sympathy to Joanne on the Homecoming of her mother. I went thru this in 1994, and experienced the mixed emotions of sadness and joy for the loved one's return to the Lord. I regret not knowing about the recent US mini-tour! Hope very much to be aware next time Iona comes to our country. If this won't happen soon, I'll have to somehow volunteer for a business trip somewhere close to a gig... Guess that's enough for my first message.
