Did anyone of you also receive a lot of Error Messages from majordomo-oasi?? It contains an attachment, which is an old message, sent to the old ionalistserve. I received about 10 of that messages now, I'm afraid I'll get more of them.... I guess things will be fairly quiet until our American friends start coming on line (what is it, around 08.10 EST?) I've not had any error messages from majodomo but some two dozen (and rising) rejections from frstleen@hotmail relating to just about every message I had sent to the old list over the past six months. Any explanations? Anyway, I'm not complaining, but looking forward to more Iona-ship with everyone. I just can say it's not coming from my mail server but seems from worldnet.att.net server. I hope it will soon be solved or finished. Sorry for that! Well, it has been too long since we have all been back together! The American mini-tour is long been over but the warm fuzzy feelings are still resonating. There is, of course, the new web page (www.mindspring.com\~iona), which has been reviewed inthe last 24 hours by the Honorable Rob Lindeboom. It will be growing regularly thanks to the valuable efforts of Jason Williams (North Carolina, USA) and "viewers like you." Many thanks to Walter Aresca in Italy for bringing us all back together again via the wonders of listserv technology! Please submit your scanned (or otherwise) photos or images to me or Jason for possible inclusion on the new Iona Information Site (IIS) site. The band is working on their own official site to come online in the future (1-2 months?). If you find other Iona related sites, please let us know. This thing is still "evolving" (huh oh, the "E" word!) so bear with us as we sort this out. We want the site and the listserv to, of course, be Iona-centric. I have solicited input from the band as to their desires for this site and the listserv and will get that info back to you from time to time. Let the games begin! Currently on the CD player: HBS - Flight of the Wild Goose.... If we all reply like we have been doing without cutting and pasting, or deleting the headers and footers, the eventual email will be about 300 feet long, and it will all be just header and footer. As a thought, perhaps we should be careful about the length of the reply, and make sure that only what we are replying to is actually kept in the reply mail. Just a thought... I hope we can get realaudio/video versions of Iona on the web soon. Anybody with a Real Audio/Video server out there? Of course there is the legal stuff the band & record company have to comment on beforehand... It was interesting to hear Dave F. playing "Iona" music. (Please no flames! ) It is very nice to hear both interpretations -- being has he co-wrote "Flight of the Wild Goose." I can't wait to go home, and be out from behind a firewall, to see the RealVideo version! Dave has a very nice sound! I can't make out the lyrics very well though. I'll have to check out his site for that.
